Scanner for 35 mm negatives ?

Could you recommend a scanner for 35 mm negs and mounted colour slides.
More importantly can you point out the scanners likely to cause problems.

I have the excellent Epson Perfection 3490 Photo Scanner and it scans colour slides perfectly, but I have not tried it with negatives.
There is a special frame which clips into the lid, and it takes about 4 at a time, but loads them onto your computer individually.
The next model up has a motorised feed attachment.
We have one of the Nikon film scanners that works very well (dedicated for film scanning), but the more regular flatbed scanners work well too.
