TO MUMMY AND DADDY
Sometimes you get discouraged because I am very small,
And always leave my fingerprints on furniture and walls
But every day i'm growing I'll be grown up one day,And all those tiny hand prints will surely fade away
So here's a final hand print just so you can recall,Exactly how my fingers looked when I was very small.

Hi Wendilla, my little boy came home from Nursery a few years ago with this poem, they had put his hand print on the bottom of the page and then laminated it - to keep forever - i burst into tears knowing his hand print would never be so tiny ever again. Thank you for sharing it with others.

Thanks for your reply.I have one done in shape of a plate in clay if this is an idea for anyone.
