twins 2
following on from a programme on TV last night... is it really possible for twins to have different fathers?!
The programme implied that fraternal (non-identical) twins are produced by two separate sperms reaching two separate eggs and that the sperm could therefore come from two separate ejaculations. I think I heard them then say that 1 in 400 sets of fraternal twins have different fathers.. can this really be true or did I hear wrong?
