The Blackbird that can't close it's beak. Having got a closer look it seems to have something stuck in it's throat, at first I thought it was it's tongue but I dont think so now. Any ideas on how to catch it alive.
Could try a butterfly net on a long stick, or some sort of large net you could throw over it if you could get close enough.
Some Blackbirds are quite tame so you could try getting some mealworms (from a fishing shop) or some earthworms and holding them in your hand (if you are not to squeemish), or putting them on the ground near to you.
