Hi, I have a dell and it has been overheating for over a year now, hence shutting down or restarting whenever it gets too hot. I've noticed its when I paly music or watch online videos or while playing games it tends to shutdown even when sometimes the lap top is not hot at all. Does anybody know what I can do abt this. Also I a quick question abt the compressed gas shots, do you have to shoot the compressed gas after opening the back of the lapto, or do you just shoot it into the air hole exits? Thanks very much, hope someone out there's got some ideas.

Hi, you could buy a cooling deck, which sits under the laptop and has some fans in, i think you plug it in to the USB slot to power it. also there is a program that you can get from the internet that tells you what temperature you pc is running at.

I think PC WORLD sell the cooling decks.
