I've got a central htg system with a combi boiler and mains cold water.Have recently changed a set of bathroom basin taps and replaced the wc and another set of taps in a cloakroom wc .For some unknown reason the system has developed a water hammer ,any ideas what the cause could be.

Thanks

turn the stop tap/**** down slightly at each new tap and wc inlet in turn, eventualy you'll turn the one(s) that are causing it.
this is assuming that you have had stop ***** fitted in line before each new item.
also being mindfull of your combis water pressure requirements, could it be after the job was done the mains tap was turned up higher than previous?
