I'm a nanny again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am the proud nanny of a beautiful little granddaughter.! she was born this morning just 19 minutes after we got her to the hospital. This is my daughters third baby. So now I have 7 grandchildren. and I am so happy, I thought I would share it with you. Brenda

Many thanks for your replies. It has been a wonderful day. although I have already 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons which I adore it is lovely to have one more. Had a bit of a fright as she went all floopy and blue just after she was born but with the midwives working very quickly with her it turned out alright.They think she had gone into shock because she was born so quickly. One minute her head was just showing the next her head was out. That made the nurses move quickly.! weighing in at 7 lbs 7 ozs.

I am expecting my 2nd grandchild at the beginning of February and really looking forward to it. Not sure I was such a great mother but I am most definately a better grandmother and becoming a better mother because of it. I can't wait......... xxxx

I'm sorry I'm a bit late but - Thank you for bringing back memories of that feeling.
I'm way behind you, only having three.
There's something about a daughter producing a child that is unexplainable. You sound as though you were able to be with her. What a privilege!
You think that you can never love anything more than you love your own children and then you find out you can! Theirs!
Give her a cuddle from me and whisper in her ear how much you love her.

Mammar yes I was really very very lucky to be with my daughter when she gave birth. It was my first time and was so wonderful .Also I was pleased to be able to help my daughter by rubbing her back and holding her hand. Because she had baby so quickly she didnt have time for any pain relief so I realy felt I helped. Brenda x
