Touring from Las Vegas
We are flying to Las Vegas at Easter. We don't want to spend the whole 2 weeks there and don't want to hire a car. Can anyone recommend a company that do tours from Las Vegas lasting for several days? Many thanks.

Your best bet is to drop in on one of the information offices on The Strip when you arrive - they will have loads of leaflets. Hotels are also helpful and you'll find lots of info in the room.
You could always take a flight to San Francisco for a few days .

when you get there ask reception for a free Whats On magazine, they have absolutely everything in there, plenty of coach/helicopter tours and its not like UK where you need to book well in advance its more on the lines of "book and go", so you can ring the tour company of your choice and go next day or same evening, they usually collect from your hotel.
There is a free trip to Laughlin, you go in the morning, get a free lunch included and stay in Laughlin till 5pm home by 7pm, they have casinos[ obviously thats the idea to get you there,] nice boat trips and riverside walks and a big discount mall, gets you out of Vegasfor the day.
If you stay in some of the hotels they provide a free bus to Primm about 45mins away and you can come back every hour but its just a mall.
Palm Springs is very nice to go for a few days.
I wonder, pls would you mind bringing me back a free Whats On magazine, will pay postage to me as I am going in April and like to plan my week ahead ?

A big thanks to you all for answering my question.
I clicked on JK2's link and have requested some info from the company on a 4 day 3 night tour of the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zion etc.
Dee Sa - I'd be happy to post you a copy of What's On but we won't be back in Uk until 15th April. Will this be too late? If not let me have your address.
We are flying with Maxjet. They fly direct to Vegas from Stansted. They are an all business class flight which sounds good and at 598 per person even better. Just hope they are OK!!
Am now in the process of booking hotels. If there are any you can recommend ( or definitely don't recommend!!) I'd love to hear from you and also who to book them through. There are so many websites offering hotels, my heads in a whirl!!

Depends on your budget and what you want in the way of amenities. In the major casino hotels you have to walk through the casino to get to reception and in and out of the hotel - to make sure you use the machines I suppose - but it's a big hike! There are some hotels without a casino if you want to get away from them for sleeping. At the top end & very central the Bellagio is gorgeous, The Venetian is too. Mandalay Bay has a beach resort, and has very fashionable restaurants. You can pretty much go by the star ratings to know the level you are getting. I've stayed at The Stardust - old hotel, very cheap but good big rooms and close to a good shopping mall!! I usually stay with friends who live there but having been about 7 times have been in most of the hotels, seen some shows, done the Grand Canyon etc. You'll have a great time.
Have a look at this map of the Strip it shows all the hotels & might help you decide where you want to stay.
