I own a land rover 90"(short wheelbase)and have 110" (long wheelbase)wheels and tyres fitted which have a larger diameter. With the 110 wheels I get an extra 3 miles to the gallon, I have a 10 gallon diesel tank which =30 more miles per gallon. Now you tell me how much a gallon is, and how much you would save? Saves me a fiver every week
mdoo98 After putting on the larger diameter wheels and tyres there is a small cog you change where the speedo cable goes into the transfer box. This little job takes about 10 mins and the cog cost me about 7.00 a few years ago. There are 3 different cog ratios you can buy depending on your rolling diameter. I have probably miss understood the original question and thought they were fitting larger wheels and tyres
