Thats a question you and only you can answer. From the sounds of it you would really regret it if you got rid of it. You have the support of your family, is their anyone you can really talk it over with?

I wish you all the best xxx

yea my family are all good to talk to.they tell me its my choice.but its just sooo hard to decide.there are loads of reasons not to have it but i dont think i could bring myself to get rid of it
as bonbon said, its you decision and yours alone. You need to sit and think exactly what having a baby will entail, could you support yourself financially or would your family be happy to help you with costs. Emotionally, are you capable of being responsible for a child 24/7 and for 16 years or more.
perhaps there is an independant advisory group that you could also discuss your options with. I think there used to be a group called brooks or something but i cant locate details, maybe someone else can.

f there is no Brook Centre near you, please phone our Helpline on 0800 0185 023 for details of the nearest young people's service to where you live, or use our 'Ask Brook'
I think this is where redcrx means.

Everyone is right though it is your decision and sometimes the decision between heart and practicality is hard. Professional advice is sometimes better than friends as emotions can be very hard to go against.
Eithher that or try the doctor he may have more advice people to refer to you. You cant be the first person to have found themselfs in this position and there will be a relevent group for you afterwards regardless of your choice. Good luck

Sorry try this my cut and paste not perfect yet
thank you winny, they are the group i was trying to find details of.
Oh what can anyone say. It is not up to anyone but yourself. It is your body and the decision has to be yours.Thank goodness you have a family for support. You do not say how old you are.? There seems to be an answer in your question "in my heart I want it". That "it" is a real baby, a little life. your baby.!
With support and help you will come to an answer. There are many more single mums out there that have made that decision. My love and thoughts go out to you, Please keep in touch. Brenda x
There is a third option, which is letting the baby be adopted by one of the many childless couples who are desparate to adopt and who have come through rigorous screeing.
In case anyone reads the link above, I can confirm that pregnant-s' post IS genuine and everything she says is true. She has had some very nasty responses on B & S which are all totally unfair.

She should have left her post here in Family. Thanks for all the sympathetic answers.
Follow your heart. It sounds like you want to keep it, and many people don't even have their family to support you - you're lucky!
