Not sure if anyone remembers my posts about being put forward for a promotion by my manager a few weeks ago? Anyway i had the interview did very well and was offered the job on the spot. I am waiting to be allocated to a new store but have been feeling so low with a lot going on in my head.

I have been depressed for a long time and am trying to pull myself up to face problems or have confidence in myself. i am though for ever feeling whats the point time has passed and i cant do anything with life now.

The new job will mean i cant attend my evening counselling sessions so will either have to find alternative help or try to cope.

i feel so frustrated as what ever happens bad or good i cant deal with it. im sorry to go on.

You probably need to find out what is causing the depression. Although your interview for promotion went well I suspect you would like a career outside of store work and you feel in a rut by staying there. I spent over 4 years in a store and hated every minute of it, putting on a face to please customers etc. The only way out was to take the plunge and enlist for a course more suitable for my capabilities. If that is your case only a drastic change in your circumstances will get you out of the mess.

well i have been with the organisation a long time but for the moment i think the promotion and move to a new area and with a larger pay cheque will be good. Most of the reasons for my depression are due to money and other worries.
