What are the major advantages of a Apple over a PC?

aha the oldest debate know to man....

well having used both. I feel that the Mac was better, for me, for design work. But after university I saw the light and went PC and have never looked back. I find them quicker and with more software. On the other hand I will agree that the Mac operating system (any of them) is far more stable than any windows op system.

Mac are more user friendly, but far more costly. diffuclt debate as I sit on the fence, but the pc just wins, by a whisker, in my opinion.

I have beenworking on Macs for 15 years
Easy to use, slicker and hardly ever crash.
Just bare this in mind if you are on the web (which you obviously are) Virus' dont touch macs� I rest my case!

Oneeyedvic, NO, they don't come with XP. You're thinking of the new 'Intel' Macs - they can RUN Windows XP (amongst others) but you need to buy XP. Boot camp allows you to switch between XP and Mac OS but the program 'Parallels' is better (no need to restart). Maybe Apple will buy out Parallels and include it in new machines?
