Further to my question earlier re my new man, an ex of mine told me he had heard a rumour that the guy i was seeing had previously been violent to his ex partner - I dismissed this accusation at first and after some contact from him - he decided he didnt want anything serious, well after this i did ask him about what i had heard as i was very concerened but wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, turns out he has admitted hitting his ex girlfriend but after some provocation, he broke 2 bones in her arm - and he is a paramedic! I still like him, but after all this now perhaps I have had a lucky escape...I am feeling very confused presently....not sure what to think anymore...so another one bites the dust.

on a serious note id like to try and say there mightve been mitigating circumstances,but broken bones leave me without any to say.

I guess i have had a lucky escape - its still shocking to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak and I am very hurt and disappointed and feel very let down. Guess you never know anyone 100%.

Roughquest, thank God you got out when you did!!!! they don't change very often, I think a Man that hits a Woman is lower than low!!! I was once pushed (by my Ex Wife) to the point where I lashed out, I punched a wall three times, broke my hand and spent 12 months re-gaining the use of it, we all have a breaking point and I had reached mine, but we don't need to hit Women!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Ratter...I only hope if ever I require an ambulance for whatever reason he isnt on the crew! Surely he would not be allowed to be in this type of job if he has a record of violence?
