We would like to go and view some mazda bongo motor homes, ready converted in the south east. We have found two places that convert them for you but we want a used one. Can any one help?
Does anyone know the pros and cons of owning an imported vehicle ie spare parts, insurance etc.

you can get spare parts from ANY mazda main dealer, dont let them fob you off, they can get them
insurance companies are sometimes picky and its best to shop around
i would image your best bet for a used bongo is auto trader or ebay, theres plenty on ebay at the moment
do you read MMM?, good place to start looking at motorhomes.
also go to the shows to see all the vans on offer.
take your time and make your mind up.
my lad has an imported Toyota MR2 and can get the parts easily, but he and I are DIYers. So things likes exhausts may cost a 500 or so.
But they are suppose to be reliable
Although I favour Vw as a motorhome having had them for 30 years, and always sold them on very easily
