Cheapest Broadband?
1 Answers
I've recently moved into my first house so money is a bit tight - but my parents are giving me their computer.
What is the cheapest (but reliable) broadband internet you'd recommend?
I don't need a package as I don't have a phone (have the necessary connections, but use a mobile) and I don't need cable (have freeview) ...I just want the 'net.
I'd only really use it in the evening Mon-Fri and only for a few hours at the weekend.
What's your advice?

Cable will provide a broadband service without the telephone or tv, but it is likely to more.
Talk talk may be an option - it works out around 17 - 20 per month including line rental, for 8 meg broadband. All land line phone calls are included, so you may save on your mobile phone bill.
All others (as far as I know) quote prices WITHOUT the line rental.
If you do find a very cheap option, I'd be interested to know about it. :)
