Drain Heating system

Hi
I want to replace the radiators in my house and have been advised to drain the system. I cannot find the plug to drain the system. I live in a top flat of 3. It is an old property but has a combi boiler system. I have been told the drain plug should be at the lowest point in the system.
I have also looked outside the building but cannot see the small drain plug. None of the radiators have a drain plug.
Any help would be appreciated

If you live in an upstairs flat, it won't be outside the building. Most likely there isn't one if you can't find it. In which case you drain the system by unscrewing one of the ens of the rads - the lowest one to the ground if the's any difference. Great care needed and lots of newspaper to avoid excess water getting on carpets etc. A few gallons will come out. You can control the flow by screwing the thing up again as you go. Empty plastic ice-cream containers make a good receptacle for catching the fluid.

Have checked near the combi could be right under the combi ie under the floor boards.
The water from the radiators will be very black and will stain

Might sound daft but just in case the boiler comes on which it shouldnt while your draining tell eveyone in the house and turn the boiler off
