No 1 could be Lover
L for fifty & over for six balls but don't know where the port fits in or it could be a misprint and it could be Dover this would fit with the port

I'm sure it's coincidental, and it would mean all the letters are wrong AND there's no indication that's its an anagram but WEIRDLY there's a port in Albania called Vlore

Maybe the clue should have read 500, in which case the answer is DOVER

That same clue (DOVER) I'm pretty sure was in the Guardian on a Saturday a week or so back - or one very similar.
