St Patrick's Day, Dublin

Mu husband and I are really looking forward to our trip to Dublin next weekend. The fabulous St Patrick's Day Parade through the town is world famous. I was too late to get any grandstand seats and my problem is that my husband can't stand for too long in one place because of dicky knees and hip. Can anyone advise me of a pub on the route where the parade can be seen through the windows? I will able to 'park' him in there while I watch from outside. Any help/advice appreciated.

The best thing for you to do is to find a hotel room on first or second floor as pubs all along the way are full so you won't see much.
