If I was to move back home to my parents council house and they then moved out and bought a house would I be entitled to stay in the council house after they had gone?

as far as Im aware the answer is no. If you qualified for a council property then you would be alloocated something suitable for your needs.
They would have to 'give back' their house once they had bought a property or rented elsewhere.

No you wouldnt be able to take it over,especially if you are on your own they would say you would be under occupying the house,cant they still move out but not say anything,what the council wont know wont hurt.lol
