Opera mail comes up as default

When I click on a email address to reply ,within a site for instance, I get Opera mail come up. I use Hotmail,Gmail,Yahoo,Tiscali and have been known to use Outlook express but not opera. Its on the lits of email programs but the Default is hotmail. I cant delete it from the list. How to get rid of it? How to get any of the other programs to be the default?

(Assuming you're using XP, if not, why not?) Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options... > Programs > Email: If it keeps reassigning itself as the default, then Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs pause for breath while list populates.. > Opera > Change / Remove However, if you're actually using Opera web browser rather than Internet Explorer then this is a 'feature'.

Thanks - but I did try the tools /option method but the selected program is (as it always was) Hotmail. I have opera on the machine but dont use it. Think I'll just get rid . You just made my mind up for me -Ta
