My wife has been prescribed co-proxamol tablets for years but at her recent visit to her GP he advised her that very soon they would not be available. A substitute would be prescribed.

search the threads, apparently its banned now and has a replacement.

They're a prescription only medicine (have a look on any medicine boxes you have - those that cannot be bought will show POM in a little box on the packaging). First answer is right - you can't buy them but there are lots of other similar painkillers available - but again, anything of that strength is usually POM.
