Does anyone know what happened to this bank? Was it taken over, if so by whom? It's nothing to do with Lloyds TSB. They deny all knowledge of it.

The British Bankers' Association (BBA) website list of mergers indicates that Bolton Savings Bank became part of TSB and thus ultimately Lloyds TSB Bank Plc...

however, there is no mention of Bolton Trustee Savings Bank.

Perhaps you can contact the BBA to see if they have any further info.
