i read recently that simon cowell was an original member of eighties band culture club. surely this cant be true? it was an answer at my local pub quiz.

there is no truth in this at all, culture club was class.

i didnt think it was true myself so i took the liberty of asking if i could view the source of this question at our quiz night and there it was in black and white. simon cowell was the original drummer of culture club before they hit it big time.
