Anyone know a decent recipe for the gravy /sauce that accompanies the yummy chicken thing that wagamamas etc do?

Seems the easiest thing to do would be to pick up some ready-made stuff from a Japanese supermarket.
Wagamama also do a recipe book.
Unless there's other ideas, I'd suggest you could experiment with frying some onions, finely chopped garlic & ginger, curry powder, adding chicken stock, and cornflour to thicken.
I saw an advert recently for a range of Wagamama ready made bottled sauces. I think these are available in Sainsbury's. Maybe the sauce you're looking for is one of those being marketed.
I get mine from local thai store, its called Chinese Hot & Spicy Curry sauce concentrate around �1.50 for a 405g pot. add boiling water to the paste, heat and hey presto just like waggies !!
