It is more usually called ' Wild Arum'. Arum Lily is another plant altogether. The aliases I have found are
Lords-and-Ladies
Cuckoo-pint
Jack-in-the-Pulpit
Devils and Angels
Cows and Bulls
Wild Arum
Apart from 'Jack' none of them seem to contain a name unless you want to include Lord.

Hi Granny C. Some sites list the plants witha couple more alternative names. Cobra Lily and Wake Robin. I have all three plants in the garden and they are all seperate species. The setter might not know that though. Just a thought
