Clematis - Apple Blossom

I am looking for a fast growing climber to cover an ugly fence. Does the above Clematis plant grow fast?

If not, please could someone give me advise for a fast grower?

Your choice will serve you well... Apple Blossom is a pure white clematis and is quite vigorous. If you like white clematis' you'd also do well to look at Sweet Autumn, which is also very vigorous. Regardless of your choice, be sure to ask the garden store which varietal your selection is since there are three and each has it's own pruning requirements and is very important in successful clematis growing... (By the way, Apple Blossom is a Group 1 varietal and should not be pruned except for minor plant maintenance and control)... Best of luck!

Clematis Montana has lots of medium sized pink flowers - flowers grow on south side so position it carefuly.

For a really fast grower why not try Russian Vine (Mile a minute) which can grow up to 12 foot in one season. Lots of sprays of creamy white flowers....
