why doesnt the size of the dogs brain correlate to how intelligent they are?

Just because someone may be 6foot5 it doesn't mean they will automatically be anymore intelligent that someone of 4foot9.

It has more to do with the ratio of brain size to body size than the actual volume of the brain.
