Stupid questions

I may have asked a few lightweight questions in the past, but two or three ABusers recently have asked an absolute stream of pathetic ones.

I suggest that the ED has a look at the quality asked, when a lot of questions are asked by the same person in a short period.

They could then be shown a yellow card (warning e mail) or a red card (zap)

Yeah rofl, you do get the feeling they only post questions just to be heard don't ya?

Still, don't think the idea is viable as any daft (in our opinion anyway) could be seen as legitimate by the OP, and if they argue the fact we can hardly call them liars can we?

Hey Panic Button,

That�s exactly what we do at the minute. As I'm sure you can guess moderating the site is a huge task and is done to the best of our ability.

Posts which are considered inappropriate, abusive, offensive etc are removed and if these posts continue the user is emailed with a warning i.e. the yellow card theory. If they continue they are banned which I guess would be the equivalent to the red card

What is more pathetic though, the questions, or the fact people go in there & answer them?

what seems a really daft question to some abers may seem a highly intelligent question to others, or is the calibre of question deteriorating because less people are on site ?

Who says less people are on the site? Just because a group of users are largely posting on another site, it doesn't mean to say the numbers have dropped. I'm willing to bet that however many people have defected twice that many new members have registered.

This is my first and last time on AB ive seen all sorts on body and soul tonight .
Which has now gone.
And on AB suggestion well i think your all sad people moaning about alsorts PLEASE life is to short.
