Is there any top tips on training a young cat to poo outside instead of in the litter tray ? cheers

whats wrong with doing it in the litter tray?

slowly move the position of the litter tray to the door then outside over a period of time. Are you having a cat flap as if the cat cant get out i would not expect it to ask like a dog. In my experience they do that when they get a bit older. Although they are generally clean by nature i would not like to tempt fate

save money on litter and less smelly coz it stinks. cheers cornflakes

put dirt in litter tray, cat will get use to going in it , we did this with ours .no problem when they went out didn't need litter tray after that

when cleaning tray put poo in bin then empty litter in garden. kitten will smell its own scent and go there
