adware/spyware redirecting websites.

okay. well. i have either adware or spyware on my laptop and if i go on a search engine and search something and click on the link it will redirect me to either msn or some website called btcar.com. does anyone know how to get rid of it?

or spybot search and destroy that ussualy gets rid of all the nasty spyware on my comp

Spybot and adaware are two mainstream apps .... watch out for freebies ... they sometimes add to your problems ... and not clear them.

another good quick scanner is bazooka .... it scans and tells you what it's found .... and how to cure .... but you have to do the wok it's not automatic
