Thoroughly enjoy doing the crosswords, & know that I could not finish with out your and Googles help, thank you all, but two questions, why do we use 'Quizzes and Puzzles' and not 'Crosswords'? and how do some of you know all the answers, and answer so quickly? I cant even find the right keys in that time. One suggestion, I have noticed that some people do not acknowledge their answers-a blacklist springs to mind. I'm off to the post now, thanks for your help today.

We have always used Quizzes & Puzzles but a new editor decided to open sub sections but they have never caught on.

I use Q & P purely because I always have - it didnt used to be broken down into categories. As for knowing all the answers and answering quickly - I don't always fit into that category but I do love it when I am first to post an answer - it's just luck if I click at the right time!

You think "I'll just log in for an hour while I have a cup of tea", but it's a bit like fishing - so difficult to stop!
But none of us know all the answers, and if you get a quick response it's likely that the question comes from a puzzle that we've just finished. The exception is the very few, like kayayamina, who can solve cryptics in their sleep!

thanks for the response, regarding Aquagility, I know what you mean, I was glued to the screen for 3 hours yesterday.
