I have just pre ordered a dvd form amazon and I notice that they ship from Jersey. If thats the case how come they still charge for postage when other companies based there like Play & HMV have free P&P.

you can get free postage if you spend over 17 pounds on amazon. Why shouldn't they charge for postage? you just have to work out whats better, if the dvd is cheaper on amazon but you have to pay postage, or paying more on play but no postage
Some companies include their postage cost in the selling price. Some companies don't, and add it on. So?
Think the fact they're in Jersey has nothing to do with postage - probably tax reasons, hence they can afford to sell for low prices. Like bednobs says, whi shouldn't they charge for postage??
