how do i get access to cctv footage of myself. i was told that everyone is entitled to all cctv images taken of them by law.

The CCTV footage is property of the organisation that took it - so if you want it from a pub/club you have to ask the owners. They are under no obligation to give you access to it though without a good reason.

What are the circumstances ?

It would be a complete waste of time to show you a video of you walking down the street, or stood in a bar talking to your mates. Unless a crime has been committed and then in pubs and clubs its often ONLY used to the clubs advantage and not yours.
