Whitefurze Freezer/Microwave containers

Has anybody else had a bad experience with these plastic containers with the little blue rubber release valve in the lid? The advertising material says they are suitable for both freezer & microwave use but having used new ones for freezing ice cream, home-made soup, stock and gooseberry purree,mine have all cracked in the freezer after being used a couple of times. The material either splits, or chunks of the container literally crack and shear off..

I had this with some of mine it said microwave proof on the bottom container but not on the lid.
So you might find the lid isnt microwave proof

No, in every case it was the bottom of the container which has split or cracked open, not the lid.

In that case they have been sold under faulse advertising as they are not fit for pupose. Here is a link to the Department of Trade and Industry web site.

Write a letter of complaint and print page of f web, attatch to your letter demand replacement goods at companies expense.
