MP3 on windows media 11
I recently downloaded windows media 11 from the internet. I think the version before was 9. On the version I had before I could only rip my cds to mp3 at 56kb/sec and didn't have the option to change it to a higher bit rate. On the new version there is the bit rate option of 128kb/sec at the lowest and it goes up to over 600kb/sec. However on this version when I've tried to convert a few of my cds to mp3 at 128kb/sec it comes up with a message saying " windows media player cannot burn one or more tracks" and I can't rip tracks at all anymore. Is there any way to solve this?

Well said Llamatron, best advice ever, FYI Jadam there was a version 10 but the download defaulted to ver11 when you tried to download ver10. I took it off and redownloaded ver9 , at least that version works.
But Llamatron is right, I would use any other piece of software to rip than Bills theres loads of free solutions.

Jadam,
If the message refers to "... burn one or more tracks" it would suggest you are perhaps trying to Rip your CD back onto the CD drive.
Go back into your Windows Media Player settings and set the destination for ripping to your My Music folder.
Some CD's have Copy Protection built into them, so you may also not be able to Rip these using Media Player.
