lol sam, i was left scratching my head as to how to do it. I have the google toolbar with the translate bit but i dont know how to work the damned thing! :-)

open up the google translate web page (rather than off the toolbar) http://translate.google.com/translate_t

then type your word in the left hand box, select the language you want to translate 'from - to' and the translated text appears on the right hand side.
