Switzerland is to create a tunnel 35 miles long, making it the longest tunnel in the world. This is the sort of record that quite easily passes us by. What other strange world records are out there that people might not have heard about?

Since 1966, he has consumed 18 bicycles, 15 shopping carriages, seven television sets, six chandeliers, two beds, a pair of skis, a computer, and a Cessna light aircraft. He is named in the GBWR for the most number of bicycles consumed.
