does anybody know why my airbag light has started to flash after only stopping suddenly and how i can stop it?

Have a look at your pretensioners under your two front seats - there are some connectors here and they may have come loose. Undo them and give them a clean out and then put them back together.This may help ther problem.
otherwise it might be trip to an auto electrician to see if he can find the fault by pluggin the car in.
