leylandii plant about 200miles apart!! Seriously i have leylandii
and it is awful to look after especially if you have neighbours(i have lovely neighbours). The roots travel a fair distance and use up the goodness in the soil.

Thank's Cocoa Pop's but need a more or less legal answer but thanx anyway.
someone in the law section would prob help you if you put question there. You need to put which country law because people are on here from lots of places.

Please don't plant Leylandii anywhere near your neighbours - those trees are an absolute pest. We had to shell out �1000 excess for subsidence damage that was largely caused by neighbours Leylandii
however near u want as long as it's on your side of the boundry line. However and branches over ther sidde they can cut off as long as they put them back in your garden asthey are your property. So you may end up with a very lopsided tree.
