Loan and Debt Adverts.....

Why oh why are these type of adverts so cringe worthy? Everytime they come on TV they make me want to bury my head in a cushion with embaressment, throw up from the cheesyness, and simply smash my TV up so I don't have to endure anymore of them. The latest most played one at the moment which really irritates me is the one with the guy in his garden struggling with a hand push mower, until an AMAZING loan gets him a sit on mower (which I might add is way way too big for his teeny tiny garden) , and then to further make you physically ill the way he sleazily acknowledges his pretend wife and she responds by trying to act like a teenager with a stupid girly coy look. EWWW EWWW EWWW. These ads should come with a health hazzard warning to the faint at heart or even better banned full stop.

If I got a loan I wouldn't spend it on a bl**dy mower! I am so tired of personal debt ads etc. And car insurance. And, as mentioned previously, shower chairs.

The one that annoys me is the ocean finance ad where the bloke is rescued from an island and is sitting onboard their yacht sipping champagne

In reality they`d chuck him overboard as soon as he gets behind with his payments

oh picture loans does my head in,the geordie with the kids shouting at her when they cant find their trainers or scooter,personally if mine yelp at me when im on the phone i talk politely while flapping them round the head at the same time lol

The adverts should actually say:-

"Do you want to pay extortionate amounts of interest? Do you want to get into further debt? Do you want a debt collector to knock at you door? Do you want to be repossessed? Well look no further. Ocean/Picture/Purple finance can help you achieve all this and much much more such as stress, anxiety, depression etc".

Oh and one more thing, when is that nasty Halifax advert going to change. It's soooo annoying.
