yes, it's very similar. And the video is a cross between Pumping on your Stereo by Supergrass and the ping-pong video which did the rounds on the net a while back.

Matey boy from Scissor Sisters has already said I'm Still Standing was his inspiration for the song.

scissor sisters are very much influenced by elton john and a lot of there songs sound so much his style just listen to mary to name but one.
