Flu/Cold Tips?
9 Answers
Hi all,
Does anyone know a quick cure for a cold/flu? Or any way to get rid of the sore redness around your nose from blowing it?
I've just been hit with a nasty cold and I want rid, like yesterday lol!!! If anyone could help me out I'd be really grateful!
Cheers xox

I bought 'Superdrug's' own brand Max Strenghth Cold & Flu Capsules, they really have been very good. Wrap up in lot's of layers including a soft scarf for round your neck. Try not to have the heating in your home to high, it just drys your throat & nose out. Have you got any vaseline in the house? After you blow your nose, smear a little vaseline on the end of your nose each time, stops you getting that sore nose. Hope you feel better soon!
This advice is too late for you but may be worth bearing in mind for next time. I only ever use Kleenex Balsam tissues when I have a cold - they really do stop my nose from getting sore no matter how many times I blow it.
At the first hint of a cold (usually that strange itch at the back of my nose or throat) I use Vicks First Defence nasal spray. I was really sceptical when it first came on the market but it really does work and stops a cold dead in its tracks.
I hope you feel better soon!
