yep..go under the name of billy-bookworm there. The man who commited suicide was well known (via paltalk) by a friend of mine.They were both regulars in the same room, my mate was gutted when he found out. He was actually logged into the room at the time but was away from his computer when it happened.

Definately some strange folk about, on Thursday night just before the last train was due, the level crossing barriers dropped and some bloke calmly walked off the end of the platform and layed down on the track and was run over by a Stansted Express

I wouldnt say that they were strange Elvis.
Depession is a real illness and for some people suicide can seem like the only way out of an otherwise intolerable situation. Iv'e been very close to doing the same thing myself in my younger days.

To do something like that is strange, it`s certainly not normal

Most rail suicides are done by jumping infront of the train

I dread to think what was going through his mind when he heard the train coming

Can I just add that one of my workmates was sitting in a van and watched this happen, before he could do anything it was too late, poor sod had to be driven home cos of the shock, I`m just glad it wern`t 24 hours earlier or it would`ve been me sitting there watching it....Bluuuuuuuuueeeergh!

I agree with Elvis, i think its very strange and also very selfish to make other people watch you do something like that! If you're gonna do it, do you really need to scar other people whilst doing so?
Im not trivialising depression, im just saying to do it with folks watching is what is weird!

and also, what the hell is an insult chatroom?????? I thought that was the answerbank on a satuday night! seriously though, i find that strange to say the least! Do they go there to insult or be insulted? I guess in that sort of enviroment something like this was inevitable!
