has anyone got any good tips for keeping the weight off after loosing it. I don't have trouble loosing weight I just find it so very hard not to go back to eating a load off junk. I have tried all the usual things they advise you to do ,but none have really helped, so if anyone has got any tips that have worked for them I would love to hear them. thank you

I do have a few strange tips...If going to a pub/restaurant chose what you want but remove at least a 1/3 b4 you eat it onto another plate & cover it up. Eat from smaller plates at home...walk as much as you can. If you feel hungry ..have a drink or clean your teeth ..if hungry 1/2h later inbetween meals have a peice of fruit or a carrot. Hope that helps. I am sooooo hungry at the mo on a strick pre hol diet.
my advice, just up for exercise. swim or go for a walk more or put in more time at the gym.

eat a healthy breakfast like a smoothie, salad for lunch but have something you fancy for tea. my friend dropped a stone doing that!
The smaller plate thing is definatly a good one. I tend to remove all the junk out of my fridge, have a chopped up bowl of salad & fruit in the fridge and when i am bord in front of the box i get that out instead of the chocolates. I do allow myself one naughty treat a week though so i dont get bored and feel im missing out.
Try to drink cordial and water instead of loads of coke, sprite and those other carbonated drinks. and if again you fancy one then have just the one or switch for a Diet instead!
walking is brilliant to help keep those pounds from going back on. If you have a dog, you could always give it an extra walk an day to get you out and moving. being bored normally results in eatting so try to keep moving. other than that i have heared on GMTV that cycling for 3 minutes a day can help you get a kylie bum!!! also very good for your legs and all the other parts. Final one is that you could get a stepper or some equipment like that and during your favourite soap or program exercise away!!
Look at all the fat people around you, squashed into their clothes and puffing when they run. Rememebr, you are not like that now and dont want to be like that ever again!
You have loads of good advice there, from food, to exercise and attitude.
Big up on the Smoothie for food though. A cram-packed morning smoothie should help prevent cravings. But if you do get cravings, try to find healthy alternatives.
Cut out the crap & if you do eat some crap, only have a little.
Learn how to maybe eat only one piece of chocolate, make that one piece last as long as you can and fully enjoy the experience of eating it. (You should really find something more nutritious though, but it can be difficult with periods etc).
Positive Mental Attitude is amazing in the long term and portion control.
Eating smaller portions can be annoying when you'vr finished and everyone is till munching away. Try really chewing every mouthful as though it was your last. Doing this you may find yourself full before your reduced portion size is finished.
Also, keep in mind that feeling when something fitted for the first time.
Good luck
I find that spending longer eating a meal helps - if you eat too quickly you don't get the feeling that you're full but spending longer over a meal seems to fool your brain somehow.
I've got a pre start of diet photo as my desktop picture. It's working so far!!!
