the clue is in the name, it's not eve's apple you see.

some women have them, though not a lot. Some male ones are bigger than others. It seems to be some sort of secondary sexual characteristic.

women do have adams apples, they are just not pronounced and visible like mens - you can feel them though, if you put your head right back or touch your neck and swallow
