New shoes - OUCH!
4 Answers
Bought some new work shoes at the weekend. Worn them today for the first time and already got a rubbed-raw big toe from a band/rib which runs across the outside of the shoe! :o(
How can I :
a) stop it getting worse?
b) soften the shoe up a bit?

If you are wearing them with bare feet that will not help, the synthetic lining may irritate your skin, wear them with socks if u wear trousers or tights if you wear skirts, if they are leather they will loosen as they mould to your foot with the walking action, if they are synthetic they will not stretch much at all and they will never feel comfortable.
Scholl have a range of products that may help, they do a pack of sore spot gel pads that you put inside the shoe at pressure points, these will help whilst the leather is stretching.
