A pat on the back

I'm so proud of myself.
When I moved home recently I went to set up my PC and when I switched the power on it went *POP* and smoke came billowing out of the back. So I posted a thread in the Technology section and had loads of advice telling me that I needed to buy a new power supply unit and replace it. Being a bit of a girlie I've never done anything like this before, but at the weekend I opened up my PC and replaced the part in question and now everything is working smoothly again. I was so chuffed with myself for being able to fix it and not feeling completely helpless.

Friday night I managed to semi-consciously come up with a plan to halve (maybe more) the time I spend at work doing a particular task (writing standard Save, Read, ReadAll methods in a Data Access Layer if you must know)..... So this morning I'm sat here trying to implement this idea. It's much easier than I thought it'd be aswell. Should have it finished by the end of the day, then I'll drop the boss with a subtle hint about a pay rise ;o).
More importantly, I got my daughter to count to 2 over the weekend :o). She just makes me proud whatever she does really.
