Heh? Is this 'turn right on red' law (I think that is how it works). I.e. if at a junction, you can turn right, on a red light, if the way is clear.
This applies in NJ, but not NY (from what I recall). I seem to recall it is marked at junctions... might be wrong.

ps the thing re: school-buses picking up and dropping off is true, certainly in NJ. All the barriers and alarms and flashing lights the bus starts 'doing' are quite incredible so you can hardly miss it... quite a sight to behold, rather hilarious on a way.
