Births in England 1209 to 1213

Why were there no legitimate births in England between 1209 and 1213?.
I don't know if this is a trick question that someone has given me.
I hope someone can help

Well Richard, 1st Earl of Cornwall was born in Winchester on 5th January 1209.
That sounds pretty legitimate.

And Joan of England, Queen Consort of Scotland was born 22 July 1210, the legitimate daughter of King John of England. Not sure where she was born though.

King John was having a row with the pope who placed England under Interdict which suspended all religious scriments - no baptisms weddings fulnerals.

Perhaps this is in reference to King John having been excommunicated in Nov 1209 by Pope Innocent III and absolved in July 1213.

presumably if you'd been married before 1209 your children born after that were perfectly legitimate. They wouldn't be christened, but that doesn't make you illegitimate, does it? So my guess is that 'no legitimate births' isn't quite correct.
