water pressure issue

I have a 3 bed flat in london. The flat is on 2 floors of the victorian conversion building. On the first floor is the boiler (combie) and a bathroom with shower. On the second floor (converted loft) is an ensuit shower. The water pressure in the shower on the first floor is ok but not great. Could be a lot lot better. On the second floor the pressure is really poor. I really need to increase the water pressure even if its only in the showers, but have no idea where to start. do I need to replace the boiler to do this? do I need to move tanks? I assume that the water tank is in the roof as its not on the first floor. any help advice is greatly appreciated. thanks for your time. gaz

The combi boiler is a direct mains fed appliance so you will not have any tanks in the loft or anywhere else. You're water pressure is what it is and there is nothing you can do about it. Just as long as it is at least 1 bar which is what the water companies has a duty to supply. You may actually find that you're boiler is not up to the job and has infact been undersized for you're requirments, and cannot cope with the hot water demand.

thanks for that. I am pretty sure there is no tank in the house. so that explains why the pressure on the top floor shower is so bad, as it has to be pumped up to it. thanks for the reply. appreciate it.
